The refinery is the only employer Rockstar names anywhere in Leonida, which makes Ambrosia a likely stage for the game’s satire of industry.
Where is Ambrosia on the Leonida map?
Rockstar has not published a map, so Ambrosia has no confirmed position. The only geographic clue is the official page’s phrase “the heart of Leonida”, which reads as inland and central but could just as well be figurative. Fan maps put the town in the interior, away from the coast. Treat every such placement as a guess.
Sugar cane needs wet, low ground, and a refinery needs road or rail. Both details follow from the one industry Rockstar has named, and neither is confirmed. Everything else comes from Trailer 2 shots that fans have tried to place. Vice City and the Leonida Keys are just as unplaced.
What can you do in Ambrosia?
Rockstar has not announced any Ambrosia-specific mission, activity or side business. The regional page gives you a setting, a refinery town under biker influence, and nothing to do in it. The confirmed outdoor activities, hunting, fishing and off-road trails, belong to Mount Kalaga National Park. Motorcycles exist in the game, which is a long way from biker gameplay.
One edition bonus hints at the wider inland area. The Ultimate Edition includes One-Eyed Willie’s, a mod shop in Lake Leonida that specializes in off-road builds and hand-painted cars. Rockstar has not said where Lake Leonida sits or whether it has anything to do with Ambrosia.
Who runs Ambrosia in GTA 6?
Two institutions, according to Rockstar’s page. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery holds the legal economy and the payroll. A local biker gang holds the rest, a phrase Rockstar leaves open on purpose. Neither has a named boss, a named club or a named character attached to it in any official material published so far.
That is a classic GTA setup, a legitimate employer and an illegitimate one feeding off the same population. One refinery, one gang, and a town caught between them.
None of the eight people on Rockstar’s character pages is based in Ambrosia. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos cross the whole state, so expect them to pass through. The plot itself is the story guide’s territory.
What real place is Ambrosia based on?
